Meet the doctor

Navneet K. Josan, DDS

Dr. Josan is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the Virginia Dental Association. When she isn’t practicing dentistry, Dr. Josan enjoys spending time with family, traveling, learning about different cultures, doing arts and crafts, and cooking. She lives in Fairfax, Virginia, with her family.

Experience

In addition to her collegiate and doctoral studies in the United States and India, Dr. Josan has completed continuing education in sedation dentistry, laser dentistry, Invisalign® clear aligners, aesthetic dentistry, and pediatric dentistry.

Meet the doctor

Khaled Katmeh, DDS

When he is not working, Dr. Katmeh enjoys cooking, playing soccer, and spending time with his beautiful wife and two children, Nahla and Younis.

Experience

Dr. Katmeh received his dental degree from Syria. After finishing his degree, he moved to the United States, where he researched many dentistry fields, including orthodontics and periodontics. Dr. Katmeh then started his residency in periodontology and implantology at the University of Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. During his residency program, he obtained a master's degree in the field of biomaterials, winning multiple research awards for his thesis, "Non-Contact Index of Periodontal Inflammation." After completing his specialty in periodontics and master's in biomaterials, Dr. Katmeh completed a one-year fellowship in Implant Dentistry, where he treated more complex surgical cases and became involved in the restorative phase of implant treatment. During this time, he started teaching and supervising periodontal residents at the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. He continued to teach for about a year before moving to private practice. He is board-certified in periodontology and dental implant surgery.
